Frequently asked questions
How does the app recognise a coin?
From the photo it determines the country, year, denomination and material and estimates the grade. Every result shows a match score. When it isn’t sure, it offers other options or lets you give it a hint. Recognition is free 3 times a month, 100 times with Premium.
Where do the prices come from?
From the Numista catalogue, from collector data in Numisly and from the current price of precious metals. It is an indicative estimate, not a professional appraisal.
Can I download my collection?
Yes, any time and for free as CSV or JSON in Settings.
Will others see my collection?
Only if you turn on a public profile. You can trade with a hidden collection too.
How do I cancel Premium?
Any time in the App Store or Google Play settings. Your whole collection stays, you just go back to the free plan limits.
